On Monday, we visited Leffell School. First, the local students gave us a tour of the school, and then we attended the morning prayer, which takes place every day for all school students. Afterwards, we visited regular classes, where we had the opportunity to speak Hebrew or learn about the Tanakh, for example. After a buffet-style lunch, we participated in a program to help people in need. The whole group helped prepare meals, which were then donated to the local food bank. Then there was a leadership workshop, involving group work and a reflection on the workshop and the whole day. The rest of the day was spent with our host families, where we had further opportunities to get to know American culture better.
