The part of the trip that we were most excited about of course after seeing our friends again has come. We went to Washington D.C today. We traveled there with a yellow school bus which I think most of us only saw before in movies. On the way to Washington, we had a chance to be in a real American traffic. I can’t say that I was glad about it, but it’s part of the full experience.
Our first stop was the Capitol, then we went to the Washington monument after that we visited the Holocaust Museum. Then we had a nice picnic and ate lunch. The afternoon program was busy, too. We saw the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, Marthin Luther King Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, the White House and so much more I can’t even list all the places. In all of them, we took a billion pictures and selfies and the BT students talked to us about the places we visited. This amazing day ended with an awesome dinner at The Char Bar. I still can’t believe that I was in Washington D.C. and I think I can say in the name of the whole group that we are so thankful and glad for this experience and chance. ~ Sandi
