It was worth waiting

When we heard that we were going to meet some kids from Baltimore, which is literally the other end of the word, we could hardly believe it. Everybody was so excited and happy. It was such a wonderful opportunity for us to make new friends and see what the differences are and the similarities between their life and ours. Becoming penfriends was wonderful. For all of us it was so enjoyable to write to them and it was nice to get to know them before they came to Budapest. We could hardly wait for them to arrive, the days went so slow. I think most of us were counting the days till the Beth Tfiloh kids got here. I think I can say in the name of us all that it was worth waiting. The week together was amazing. The sightseeing was so much fun. It felt so good to show them our city around and tell them a little bit about our history. We took many pictures together and we felt as if we had known each other for a longer period of time even though we had just met a few hours earlier. All of the Beth Tfiloh kids were so nice, words cannot express how friendly they were. It was nice to pray with them and to experience how they do it at their school every day. As far as we are all concerned the escape rooms were incredible. We solved mysteries together, working as a team. All of us really appreciated the classes that the teachers from Beth Tfiloh had with us. All of them were super fascinating and interesting. We enjoyed learning new things. Me, in the name of my class, I can say that we especially enjoyed the seminar that we had about the Ameican government and about the First Amendment. The other classes were wonderful too. We are looking forward to our next meeting and we are all so sad that we had to say goodbye to BT peers in such a short time. We wish they could stay here longer.
