America!

This was our fourth day in BT, which is unbelievable, because time it feels like we have just arrived and we are part of this community for years at the same. Days are passing so fast that I can’t even realize it. One week ago I couldn’t belive that I’m coming to the USA, now I can’t belive that I have to go home at the end of this week. Today as well as the others was great. Finally I wasn’t jetlagged in the morning and could start the day at school refreshed. I visited an English class where we were talking about Kafka and after that I had a bible lesson which was really exciting. The topic was a book called Permission to Believe. The first chapter of the book mentions three different types of aspects: the beliver, the agnothic and atheist. We read the definitions of these words and were debating about them. I found that highly interesting. More and more classes I visit in BT the more and more sure I get that we have to change our education system in Hungary. Afterwards we had to represent our seminars to three different grades. It was so long exhausting to tell our presentation nine times in a row, but it was worth it, because in the end, we could do it without any mistakes and even with some show effects (We were singing, dancing along the videos with some traditional Hungarian clothes on us). One big highlight of the was the lunch again whish was very delicious. But my personal best part of the day was bowling. I felt really happy because Deryn could finally join us. I enjoyed the game with Ivett, Josef and Daryn. I wasn’t as bad in bowling as I thought, in fact, I won the second round. After bowling, we went to Target. Almost two hours later we came out with many fullpacked bags of american snacks. Now my biggest problem is that how I’m going to pack all these things in my suitcase to give it to my friends and family as souvenirs. So on the whole for me it was an awesome and tiring day with bowling, shoppping, friends, learning and teaching new things. I have only one wish left that I want to see in America and this is an American trash truck. ~ Lillu
