Wednesday was the peak and fill point of our visit. I felt like a cup of water filled over the rim, when only the surface tension allows the water not to spill, the tension was great. There was just so much information and insight. Always paying attention to the Italian, maybe I can learn something, and then to the English trying to scribble every word down with graphomania that at times gave me cramps, but all the words seemed weighted and consciously chosen. Each day seemed like a week and at the end of the day it was a miracle we could make it to dinner. Our conversations were filled with exhausted laughter, the best kind! I think I have been here for a month! As I roll away from this part of the earth, the plane’s wheels still touching the ground, I can’t help but feel: I hope to be back soon! ~ Vera Marton, an educator at Lauder Javne Ovada, Budapest, Hungary
