New York New York

First, we gathered in the parking lot next to the school at 8 o’clock, bidding farewell to some students. We then boarded the school bus bound for New York. Along the way, we caught sight of Manhattan. We left our luggage at a souvenir shop and walked to Times Square, where we had 20 minutes to grab lunch. Unfortunately, not everyone managed to do so in time, so we headed to a local mall where we also had around 20 minutes. Next, we walked through Central Park and along 5th Avenue to Vanderbilt Summit, where we waited for entry. After passing through security, we took an elevator to the 91st floor, where numerous rooms offered breathtaking views of New York. Our day continued with a performance of Spamalot on Broadway with a short intermission. After the show, we collected our luggage and headed towards the airport, taking a train with a transfer. We arrived at the airport too early, giving us plenty of time to pack our belongings onto the plane and take a restroom break. We had a 6-hour flight, landing at Amsterdam Airport, where we had an hour to grab food and souvenirs. We departed from the airport at 1 p.m. and arrived in Prague at half past two.
